During a recent committee meeting, the General Authority for Civil Service Affairs reviewed the extensive services provided at the Two Holy Mosques since the beginning of Ramadan. 1. Iftar Meals Distribution
Ramadan is a time of fasting and reflection, and the provision of Iftar meals plays a crucial role in supporting worshippers. More than 10.8 million Iftar meals have been distributed to visitors, ensuring they can break their fast comfortably within the sacred premises.
2. Clean and Comfortable Prayer Spaces
To enhance the prayer experience, 344,360 carpets have been laid out across the Two Holy Mosques, allowing worshippers to perform their prayers in a clean and well-maintained environment.
3. Provision of Zamzam Water
Zamzam water, revered for its spiritual and health benefits, remains a significant necessity for visitors. Over 14 thousand cubic meters (m³) of Zamzam water have been supplied to ensure easy access for worshippers.
4. Haram Exhibition Visitors
The rich Islamic heritage and history of the Two Holy Mosques attract visitors eager to learn about their significance. The Haram Exhibition has welcomed over 101 thousand visitors, offering them valuable insights into the history and operations of these sacred sites.
5. Luggage Storage Services
For the convenience of pilgrims and visitors, a luggage storage service has been actively assisting worshippers. More than 19 thousand beneficiaries have utilized this service, making their journey within the mosques more comfortable and hassle-free.
