Particularly commendable is the national campaign for charitable work through the Ihsan platform and the generous contributions from this làlcountry’s leaders (may Allah preserve them).

This exemplifies the unwavering commitment of this blessed country, since its founding, to strengthen and support charitable efforts. It is a cause that deserves endorsement and assistance in fulfilling its religious, educational, social, relief, health, humanitarian, and civilizational works.

Moreover, such structured charitable work helps limit the phenomenon of begging, which harms both the beggar and society.

Begging is a harmful and degrading practice, a gateway to crime, and a contradiction to hard work and diligence. It also violates established laws and regulations, public correctness, and  conduct, while promoting laziness andOL0lɓ unemployment, distorting the moral and ethical principles of society.0

O Muslims, Allah, the Most High, has prescribed fasting in order for Muslims to renew their commendable traits of worship and revive their usual commitment to performing righteous deeds.

Through this, they are able to ascend in the levels of Iman and embrace the traits of the righteous and benevolent, as Allah, the Most Wise and the Legislator, did not confine fasting to its outward form and appearance.

Rather, He intended it to be a means for the elevation of the soul, the refinement of the self, its preservation, the purification of its limbs, and an ascent from the depths of materialism to the lofty heights of spirituality.

As a result, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, singled out this act of worship amongst all others. The evidence for this is the statement of Allah:

"Every deed a person does is for themselves except fasting, for it is for Me and I will reward for it." (Reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Servants of Allah, summon your fullest resolves and strengthen your determinations. Show Allah from yourselves only good, awaken your hearts from the slumber of heedless thoughts, and restrain your gazes from prohibited sights.

The truly happy are those who adorn themselves with the beauty of obedience and unite like flames kindled from the same spark.

O those that are fasting, praying, and spending in the cause of Allah, nevertheless, let your charitable efforts be carried out under trusted and secure organizations.

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre and the Ihsan Charity Platform are admirable examples of this blessed country’s commitment, and the dedication of its leadership to support charitable initiatives and encourage humanitarian and relief aid.

People of Iman, as our Muslim Ummah enjoys the fragrance of our eternal month and its lush days of continuous blessings. As we bask in its abundant goodness adorned with the finest attire. As we sip its nectar and drink its refreshing waters. As we contemplate its radiant lights and delight in its beautiful visage, the month is swiftly reaching its halfway point.

It is a month of goodness, generosity, and benevolence. A month in which rivers of obedience flow and flowers of goodness and righteousness blossom from their buds. Muslims attentively listen with anticipation to hear its objectives and secrets, as well as lend their ears with attentive hearts to hear its hidden goals and news. Its days overflow with acts that bring one closer to Allah and joy, and its nights are illuminated with the recitation of ayats.

Ramadan is a month of generosity, triumph, benevolence, recitation, and light, a season blessed by Ar-Rahman and immortalized by the Qur'an.

In support of this, Allah stated:

"The month of Ramadan is the one in which the Qur’an was sent down as guidance for mankind, and as clear evidences that show the correct path and distinguish between right and wrong." [2:185]

It is also praiseworthy to increase giving charity and spending for the sake of Allah, to attend to endowments, fulfilling wills, and establishing charitable trusts, due to their sustainability, governance, transparency, and reliability.

Likewise, attending to what helps achieve public interests, such as hospitals and kidney treatment centres, road construction, housing development, well drilling, and water provision.

Similarly, spreading beneficial knowledge relating to Allah’s oneness, supporting Quranic study circles, distributing Qur’an copies, books of Sunnah, books pertaining to Islamic rulings, and establishing perpetual charity.

The aforementioned all contribute to providing general benefit and aiding the sectors that promote growth and development.

O People of Iman, Ramadan is a month of being active, diligent, and striving a month of victories and great accomplishments.

In Ramadan of the second year after Hijrah, the Muslims triumphed in their first major battle, the Battle of Badr. Thereafter, their victories spread across the east and the west, with many of them occurring in this blessed month. Therefore, cast away from yourselves, O servants of Allah, all laziness, sluggishness, and weakness.

Take hold of the means of success and prosperity through reliance upon Allah, firm determination, and relentless effort. Approach the last ten nights of Ramadan with unwavering resolve, following the example of your noble Prophet ﷺ. In support of this, the mother of the People of Iman, ‘A’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said,

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ would exert himself in worshipping Allah during the final ten nights of Ramadan more than he would at any other time.” This was reported by al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Likewise, in an authentic hadith, it mentions that

“When the last ten nights of Ramadan began, Allah’s Messenger ﷺ would spend his nights in worship, wake his family for that purpose, and remain diligently devoted to Allah.”

O those who fast and stand in prayer, rejoice and have glad tidings, for great is your fortune in these few blessed days.

Draw near to your Lord through obligatory and voluntary deeds.

Make up for what you have missed of great acts of worship, and experience the sweetness of devotion through performing the night prayer, I’tikaf, and heartfelt supplication of Allah.

The opportunity still exists, and the trade remains profitable for those who have squandered the days of Ramadan and allowed them to slip away, treading the paths of negligence until they led themselves to ruin.

O Allah, whoever intends to harm us, Islam, or the Muslims, busy them with their own selves, turn their plots against them, and make their schemes a destruction upon them, for You certainly hear our invocations.

O Allah, O Owner of vast giving, bounty, and favour, unite our Ummah upon the Qur’an and the Sunnah.

O Allah, Your forces cannot be defeated, and You never break Your promise so save the downtrodden Muslims everywhere.

O Allah, grant victory to our brothers in Palestine, and protect al-Masjid al-Aqsa, keeping it firm and mighty until the Day of Recompense.

O Allah, just as You granted victory to Your Awliya’ (obedient worshipping servants) during the Battle of Badr the Day of al-Furqan (the criterion between truth and falsehood) grant victory to our brothers in Palestine in every time and place.

O Allah, destroy their enemies, divide their ranks, and make them a lesson for those who take heed.
