In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Praise be to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. May peace and blessings be upon His noble Messenger, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
To my sons and daughters, my brothers and sisters, citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Muslims around the world Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
As we stand at the threshold of yet another blessed month of Ramadan, our hearts are filled with gratitude to Allah for granting us the opportunity to witness this sacred season once again. Ramadan is not just a month of fasting but a period of immense spiritual reflection, mercy, and forgiveness a time when believers draw closer to their Creator through worship, supplication, and good deeds.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been honored with the sacred duty of serving the Two Holy Mosques Masjid al-Haram in Makkah and Masjid an-Nabawi in Madinah. This noble responsibility has been upheld by the rulers of Saudi Arabia since the unification of the kingdom under King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud. We remain committed to ensuring the best possible care for the millions of visitors, pilgrims, and Umrah performers who travel from all corners of the world to seek the blessings of these holy sites.
As we welcome Ramadan, we extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim Ummah and pray that Allah grants us success in observing its fasts and prayers with sincerity and devotion.
Ramadan is a season of a time when blessings descend, rewards are multiplied, sins are forgiven, and the spirit of brotherhood is strengthened among Muslims. It is a month that calls upon us to increase in worship, charity, patience, and self-discipline. Through fasting, we experience the struggles of those less fortunate, reinforcing the values of compassion and gratitude.
Let us seize this opportunity to purify our hearts, seek Allah’s pleasure, and strive for righteousness. Let us be mindful of our words and actions, extend kindness to others, and engage in acts of generosity that uplift our communities.
A Prayer for Peace and Stability
As we embrace this sacred month, we turn to Allah in humble supplication, asking Him to bestow upon us security, peace, and stability. We pray for the safety and well-being of our brothers and sisters in Palestine and across the world who face hardship and uncertainty. May Allah ease their suffering, grant them relief, and bring peace to all nations.
Furthermore, we ask Allah to protect our nation, strengthen the bonds of the Muslim Ummah, and guide humanity toward unity, justice, and righteousness.
May this Ramadan be a source of immense blessings, spiritual renewal, and divine mercy for all.
Wa Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh.
